Yennai Arindhaal - Below average and lacks impulse

Just before few days, the first look teaser of Yennai Arindhaal stormed with an incredulous response over online portals. In fact, it created such an instantaneous sensation touching a graph of 5 million views and unforeseen Likes for a Tamil movie trailer. With accordance to this success, the makers have changed the plans of releasing the song directly on the screens and have now made a single track release last night.

Adhaaru Adhaaru Udhaaru Udhaaru is a local flavour track that we have never heard in any of Gautham Menon’s previous films. The song is crooned by Vijay Prakash and Gaana Bala. It looks like the song is pictured on both Ajith Kumar and Arun Vijay.  The lyrical lines by director Vignesh Shivan of Poda Podi and Naanum Rowdydhaan fame is mediocre that gets a middling impact with Harris Jayaraj’s music.

To make it more precise, the song isn’t appealing and such tracks are completely unwanted for a Ajith image.

Verdict : Below average and lacks impulse

Stars : 1.5/5
