Two Back To Back Movies From Vikram

National award winning actor, Vikram, spent three crucial years on the ambitious I, directed by Shankar. Though the film received mixed reviews, the actor’s efforts for the film is unparallel and received critical acclaim. The two films that followed I were Vijay Milton’s 10 Endradhukulla and Anand Shankar’s Iru Mugan, which released in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

The shoot of Vikram’s Sketch, directed by Vaalu fame Vijaya Chander, was recently wrapped up. Produced jointly by ‘Kalaipuli S. Thanu and ‘Moving Frame’, the film pits ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah opposite Vikram for the first time on-screen.

Sripriyanka, who has essayed a heroine in a few films including the soon-to-be-released Miga Miga Avasaram, plays a prominent role in the film which has Soori, R.K. Suresh, Aruldoss and Shreeman in important roles. The film’s script reported has the ‘notorious’ North Chennai as its backdrop. S.S. Thaman has scored the film’s music whose post-production work has just commenced.

Vikram is now concentrating on Dhuruva Natchathiram which would be his first film in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s direction. He has also agreed to star in Hari’s Saamy sequel which might go to floors towards end-September. Vikram sure has a busy few months ahead of him and might find Sketch and Dhuruva Natchathiram releasing back-to-back!
