Baahubali 2: The Conclusion - A Pride to Indian Cinema - DO NOT MISS IT!

Baahubali – The Beginning has taken the Indian Cinema to the world with the Magnum Opus. Why Kattappa killed Baahubali ? has taken the movie to another level. Baahubali 2  Directed by the genius Rajamouli, the magnum opus has released in over 8000 screens worldwide all over today.

Baahubali 2 movie is directed by Rajamouli, produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni, Music by Keeravani and Starring – Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Tamannaah in a leading role. The movie released worldwide on 28th April and 27th April in some countries. Since the Baahubali The beginning created a buzz when it was released, the second part of the movie got huge expectations.

The Beginning begins with Mahishmati empire’s queen mother Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) sacrificing her life to save the royal baby (Mahendra Baahubali, son of Amarendra Baahubali). Tribal queen Sanga (Rohini) raises the baby as Shivudu. One day, he stumbles on a wooden mask and tracks down its owner, Avanthika (Tamannaah)– who is on a mission to rescue Devasena (Anushka Shetty), their former queen, who is held captive by emperor Bhallala Deva (Rana Daggubati) for almost 25 years. He falls in love with Avanthika and assist her in rescuing Devasena without even knowing that the woman is his own mother, wife of Amarendra. That’s when Kattappa (Sathyaraj) reveals the flashback of Shivadu’s father and the movie ends with the king’s royal slave saying he killed Baahubali, and his reason for the act is the plotline of the sequel, Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Sequel  Story Plot : Trouble starts once Queen Mother Sivagami appoints Amrendra Bahubali as the future king. In this process, Baahubali visits a small kingdom called Kuntala and falls in love with its princess Devasena (Anushka). But in Twist, Baahubali’s mother, Shivagami changes her decision and announces Bhallaladeva as the king. Why did Shivagami suddenly announce Bhallaladeva as the king? What is the back story behind her decision? and why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? To know answers to these questions, you need to watch the film on the big screen.

The characterisation of Prabhas as Baahubali & Sivudu, Anushka as Devasena is nerve gripping, the director is quite successful in intensifying the layers of the characters, so did the actors. In comparison with the prior movie, ‘the conclusion’ has brought the better version of BGM and the best VFX effects, thanks to Senthil Kumar, his outstanding cinematography won’t let you take off your eyes from the screen. Storywise, the first part was barely a linear story line, unlike that, the second part is an accomplishment, statistics wise, the sequel itself implicates the 90% of the story, the first part, a 10%.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a seamless continuation in scale and splendor of the first part, starting just where it ended. The story picks up from where Kattappa ended in Baahubali: The Beginning and begins with Baahubali entering to tame an elephant.

The film is even more ambitious than its prequel. The imaginary kingdom of Mahishmati now comes across as richer and more fantastic. There is a lot more in this fairytale world: a new city where Baahubali meets his future wife, splendid views of a moonlit war that takes place there, eagles carrying messages and Disneyesque palatial ships that fly. There is an anthem for Mahishmati too.

The grim and tight narrative, however, slackens with a long courtship episode with the warrior princess Devasena (Anushka Shetty) as Kattappa turns into the archetypal comic sidekick for Baahubali.
