Super star Rajini Kanth's Kabali teaser was released at 11am today. There were a lot of expectations for the teaser all over the world. And the team has not disappointed anybody. So far the teaser has crossed 100k likes in just 1.5 hours. Obviously Rajini is the man who can make these kind of records.

The teaser is classy and for sure will bring a smile on everybody's face. With little over a minute, it gives a clear picture of Rajinikanth's character in the upcoming Tamil movie. The video has all the elements that the audience loves to see in his films.  Sporting a smart beard and in a sharp three-piece suit, the actor emerges with a background voice saying "neruppu da" (he is fire). It is also obvious that the actor is portraying  not just an furious gangster but a fun filled man with a damn good attitude.      

Rajinikanth has sported a salt and pepper look with thick beard. In the final part of the teaser, there is a glimpse at his younger look in the film which has also impressed the viewers. His on-screen wife in the movie, Radhika Apte makes a blink-and-miss appearance and film's villain Kishore will be seen in one scene in the video.

Santhosh Narayanan, who has been impressive with his work, has not disappointed his fans with the background score as the background score of "Kabali" is top notch.

The makers wanted to release the teaser of "Kabali" on April 14 and show it along with Vijay's "Theri." However, the plan was later changed. Now, the buzz is that the video will be shown along with Suriya's forthcoming film, "24."

"Kabali" tells the story of a don, who reportedly runs a school for children affected by gang wars. The movie is primarily set in Malaysia but the main character reportedly has his roots at Mylapore in Chennai.

The movie stars Radhika Apte as the female lead while Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, Kishore, John Vijay and others form the supporting cast. The film features Praveen KL's editing and G Murali's cinematography. "Kabali" will hit the screens in June or July.

Meanwhile, the teaser, which has got earth-shattering response from the netizens, has got highly positive reviews. We will have to wait and see what more records this teaser is going to break.
