REVIEW
 
Vijay Sethupathi has collaborated with director Rathina Shiva of Vaal Deal fame and the movie is bankrolled by B Ganesh. The film has Lakshmi Menon playing the female lead, while Kishore, Kabir Duhan Singh, Harish Uthaman, KS Ravikumar, Nassar and others are in the cast.
 
Dinesh Krishnan is the cinematographer and Praveen KL is the editor of the Tamil flick. Popular south Indian musician D Imman has scored the music. His songs - Kanna Kaattu Podhum and Kannamma - have already turned out to be hits.
 
STORY
 
The film is set against the backdrop of Madurai and Kumbakonam. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of an advocate in the film, while Lakshmi Menon will be seen as a village belle. The story basically revolves around an abduction, which is carried out by Sethupathi. Why did he do that? What happened after that? You will get the answers in the big screen. 
 
PERFORMANCE
 
The movie is Vijay Sethupathy’s commercial attempt for sure. This movie has Vijay Sethupathi in the male lead role. As usual, he has done a great job in this movie. He is the sole reason to go for the screens for this movie. In the action scenes, in particular, he has shown his mettle as an actor. But then there are few places we feel, the stunts could have been better.  While Lakshmi Menon is in the female lead role. She has justified her selection for the female lead role. This movie also has Kishore, Kabir Duhan Singh, Harish Uthaman, Sathish, Shalu Shammu, K.S.Ravikumar, Nasser, Sriranjani, Soundararaja in the other supporting roles. And these actors have done a decent job.
 
The movie has a very simple and predictable plot. But the screenplay saves the show. Its well packed and racy at places. But the song placements were very wrong which becomes the very big minus of the flick.
